If anyone knows me, I'm huge on music. I love to mix and done some DJ sets now and again, also produced a little bit for friends projects, all i want to know is who is your favourite artist or band and your main kind of genre you like to listen too? My favourite artist is someone called Jamie xx. He is the backbone of the future indy pop group called the xx, He has been doing some solo work which has influenced me so much, He made me want to start producing in the first place and generally his music picks me up when I'm down. his sound is very UK based and uses old school gear to make his beats and mixes on vinyl compared to other DJ's who use CJ's etc. So whats yours?
I'd say my personal favorite is F-777, as he's made ton of good songs while keeping the number of his songs stable.
I think Imagine Dragons and Coldplay. I would say Panic! At The Disco as well but I don't feel as if I've spent enough time listening to their songs or learning about them to call them my "favorite artist". However, they are definitely up there. ...Then there's the times where I just find literally one song I like from an artist. I hate everything else that they have made so far except for the one song.
Too many genres to have one favorite, so here's a list of bands/artists I enjoy most: The Beatles Queen Led Zeppelin Muse Queens of the Stone Age Weezer The Killers Outkast I enjoy lots of others across all genres(except Country), but those are probably my top favorites
