    I've never felt safe storing stuff in enderchests so mines just full of food and iron tools in case I somehow lose everything else and have to start over

    Back in the day, the chest could glitch and wipe everything out of it. Hasn't happened in a while though.
    It happened to me 3-4 times.

    corrupted chucks would still remove the chests. I don't think anything can protect you from a corrupt chunk.

    or you could do what i do and store them in your /chest option safest way

    i use it mainly when maining to make life easier so i dont hvae to keep transferring stuff.
