    I don't have a pic, but once I was digging a mine and was running out of torches so I dug out a vein of coal which led to a vein of gold which led to a vein of diamond. That will probably never happen again.

    dont have a pic but once i was trying to break the number 1 rule of minecraft (never dig down) and a found a 10x10 room of dimonds!(10 blocks up)

    2 things 1 it is possible i found it ill get a pic soon and 2 I HAD MY SOUND UP REALLY HIGH THAT NOISE ALMOST KILLED ME!!!

    10x10 rooms of diamonds is not a natural design in MC, if you did indeed just "stumble" across that while mining straight down to it... more than likely put there by somebody else or your making it up :p
