Misa's HD realistic texture pack. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...texture-pack-updated-25apr2012/page__hl__misa
Made a tutorial with pictures for all those who are confused. http://www.minecraftserver.com/forum/threads/how-to-enhance-your-minecraft-via-mods.3449/#post-20673
Did you... Delete META-INF? Try it with a fresh, unmodded mincraft.jar? Install the right version of the mod? The steps I show in my tutorial is exactly what i did on my PC. Since you still cant get it, heres a video. If after following all directions to the letter and it STILL doesnt work, then I guess you just werent meant to expericence this mod
Do you play in browser or in client? That had stopped me for getting mods for like, 6 months, and I couldn't figure out why xD
Ok, so these look really awesome but I am a little fuzzy on what you can install/run and what you cannot when playing on the server. Do textures only affect what you are seeing on the client side within your own gaming experience so they are allowed? What about some of the mini-map mods and stuff? Does anyone know of a list of approved client mods that can be run? Thanks for helping a fellow MC'er see clearly!
Any mods that allow getting passed the survival aspect of the game are not allowed. There is a long list of those so Ill try to list every mod off the top of my head that you can have. Optifine (Performance enhancing, HD texture pack support mod), Mini-map mods (Rei's, Zans, etc...[Just dont use slime chunk finder or anything like that]), Any texture pack that doesnt make any block clear / see through. So these texture packs are fine. HD texture packs are also allowed. Chat mods that allow key binds, and 1 command macros are allowed. Chat mods that spam the chat are not allowed. Its really a common sense thing, but common sense seems to be uncommon now-a-days so I wont always trust that
Cool, Thanks for the info Bajj! Will definitely be trying these out then! Remember, if sense were something that really was common then most everyone would have it! Right?
