i found a cool texture pack and ive got the link! http://www.minecraftdl.com/jolicraft-halloween-texture-pack/
Even that stretches the boundaries of being too far from default. Good pack, and I see a lot of people use it, but I never will.
I remember that tp from way back when... I much prefer http://bdcraft.net/ though much more smooth transition between blocks and very easy on the eyes. Adds a comic book feel to the game rather than going for "realistic" or "super pixilated" also supported in all sizes 16x 32x 64x 128x 256x 512x with mod support of a vast list of popular mods. As well as the Mobile version of MC on Android and iOS
Im trying to get R3D Craft texturepack to work but when I use it, I keep getting parts of the actual terrain.png file as block textures. So it'll show the chests and empty purple spaces as lets say snow blocks....
jojo, you IDIOT, you MCpatcher to play it with anything 64x or 128x (i can't remember which) to use it, because they're HD texture packs!
lol jojo, obviously you never used a HD pack. Either patch with MCpatcher or install optifine and it handles that automatically. You should have optifine anyway for all its other features.
