Yummy - I just hit the mongolian grill and made up a few dishes (one with tofu) and then had some red respberry gellato for dessert. My belly is as happy as yours.
When one's stomach is empty, one does does not necessarily feel hungry. You feel hungry when your blood system has run out of nutrition . Your body then sends nerve impulses to the brain to show you need more nutrients in your body. The brain then speeds up the digestive activities to make use of whatever is left in your body. This then causes you to feel hungry, and occasionally have your stomach growl.
Growling stomache is due to gas forming and moving. This happens in the bowels and the stomach. And I just ate bread.
