actually tech Asus makes some wicked good Motherboards for Intel. Im currently looking into building myself a gaming rig and have put back about $1,500 for it. Have not started ordering parts yet as im just shopping around a bit and researching. Will most likely start buying near Black Friday when I can get things a lot cheaper. Just as an example here is the Asus motherboard im looking at probably getting for my rig, Expensive but so worth it as your motherboard is very important: it runs about $224 currently but with a 5 year warranty, the amazing features and quality of the product that will last a very very long time (it is military grade hardware) I believe it is well worth the investment for me However I am also looking at possibly going with the new AMD 8 core processor line but not quite sure between the two yet.
Do you mean the AMD FX-8150? If so I should defintly stick with Intel if I where you. That CPU really isn't as good as it looks like.
