Some aspects I like, some I don't. I'm not really sure if "caution block" would look that good in the nether to be honest, although these would all look really great in a city-type RP server
This is one of those texture packs that only go good with a particular theme. I tend to not go with such things as themes change a lot
Well on of the best texture packs i have been using is Faithfull. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/72747-faithful-32x32-pack-updatemany-mods-alts-125/ It is 32x32 and it is just perfect for multiplayer!
The best Texture pack I have found so far (imo ofc) is http://bdcraft.net/ By far the most smooth and overall great TP I've used, not a single block i don't like the look of and it all blends very well together as to not be hard on the eyes. TP is available in 16x 32x 64x 128x 256x and 512x and has support for nearly every single popular mod out there http://bdcraft.net/patchs-for-bdcraft-texturepacks
I might try that one out, looks nice! It said there are block alternatives, is there a place where I can switch lets say the diamond block for a different one?
Not that I know of. Not sure what the -block alternatives- link on that page is for. Just takes you to the page with list of blocks lol. I mean if you really wanted to you could go into the files manually and replace with specific files from another texture pack.
