    default beckie, but im using the sonic shaders mod, its a very intense mod, i only had like 30fps :(

    i normally get around 300fps with high setting onmy iMac, and 150-180 onmy macbook xD

    What size macbook? With my 128x128 texture pack and optifine I get about 20 fps on my 13"..... :/

    I have a 2012 macbook pro 13", wth i5 and nvidia graphics cards, and it can run 128x Sphax at 70fps :O

    you installed graphics cards for it? o_O Thought you couldnt on small laptops like the 13"
    Edit: Mine is early 2011 I believe

    The new ones come with dedicated graphics. The plain macbooks have been phased out and all you have now are MacBook Pro's

    nice :) i run shader mod on my desktop as well. use it with spanx 128x and run about 90 FPS with optifine. Only issue i have with the shader is all the chunk errors it has, nothing worse than a beautiful landscape scarred by invisible failed chunks of land lol.


    and while newer processors like the i5 and i7 ivy bridge have built in GPUs on them they really are not designed to maintain high demand things like this ;) I do have an issue when trying to run to much on MC, I get a out of memory error if i do to much even though i have 8 gigs of ram and nothing else hogging up resources. Not really sure why, mc just sucks in that regard i think lol.

    Pretty much the same specs as you; I think the out of memory errors will be much less as Mojang has optimized tons of performance in 1.3 :D

    I got a ASUS G75 ROG laptop i gotta get my RAM upgraded 8 more gb's already got the RAM chips just need someone to do it :D Whenever i play with shaders i get around 45-90 fps but end up lagging out. :/
