1) Remember to get your land registered. Once it's registered under your name, no one can grief your land. 2) Be cautious who you let build on your land. You are allowed to add people to your land and you should only add people who you know and trust. 3) Remember to lock your doors. If you don't want someone to be able to open your doors/trapdoors/fence gates then place a sign next to it that says; [Private] *IGN* 4) Lock your chests and furnaces. You can stop robbers this way. You lock your chests the same way you lock your doors. Remember these to help stop those pesky robbers/griefers and you will be fine.
Locking mechanism has changed, Instead of using signs, you use the command /cprivate then hit the item you wish to private This works with Doors, chests, furnaces, and more. Check the wiki for more info
Hey, first of all, he ain't stupid. Second, you gotta have the flag for it. Also if you add someone, you wanna lock a chest so they don't open it. Don't be a smartass when it's not needed.
Sorry i only ment to say that there is no need to lock your stuff on your own plot if you live alone on it
