my friend, there is this vast wealth of knowledge and information at your figertips. You just have to be willing to look... I will just send you to an older thread post of mine that answers this for you, since we seem to have so many multitudes of threads about the exact same thing http://www.minecraftserver.com/foru...ne-is-building-their-own-pcs.4861/#post-34003
Google... it isn't as hard as you might think. If it turns out to be that hard, there is always an option of paying someone to do it. Just account for it. I was very liberal with the prices on that build. Personally, I'd like to get a system for about a grand, no more.
And FTR, I voted for the 27" iMac... I think if you can afford it and you want the iMac, go for it. Pull the trigger and get it. As I've said before, my biggest regret with computers is my lack of persistence with getting a mac. I guess the ONE piece of info I can give you: Don't go with dell. I don't care about their customer service, I've had too many problems with several of their devices for the pricetag to be worth it. I have family in IT who can also attest to this. Be careful when you go with a major manufacturer and make sure people say the piece of equipment you buy is reliable and lasts a long time.
Ok, I think I'm gonna make my own.... Thing is, I REALLY like OS X Mountain Lion, also, I think I'd like not having a tower. Both of those are not possible with a custom computer, right?
Buy what YOU want, you will be the one using it, just keep in mind, I got a mac, and I cannot play alot of new fun games on steam. If you are buying it for gaming, NO, dont get any Mac. but if you want an exellet computer that will last for 4-7 years go for it. You'll be able to play mc really smooth as I do onthe go!
See, it's the beautiful simplicity about the Mac that I love. I'll say, originally, posting this thread, I completely wanted the 27" iMac....I didn't even put making my own as an option. But now, that I look into it, I realize how powerful a computer I can make if I apply myself to making one. I mean 8 Cores! Possibly even 12! The look of the iMac is still hard to top.... But I think having a case that lights blue when It's on can almost top it.... Who knows, maybe I can get an iPad if I have any money left over . Before I make my final decision, I'll probably visit an Apple store and derp around on one and spend like 30 minutes asking the apple dude questions.....
MAC, yes and no. no way to fully run it. HOWEVER, using Bootcamp you can (though Ive never tried as I just dont got the time). you can make really small powerful systems

Well Happy I have made a fully xompatible 1k Custom comp on amazon, You just need to build it and add a Operating system
Yeah don't gte a graphichs card just find a board with vga and dvi built it alot cheap for it built it but worth it
ehh, depends on that the onboard graphics has. for MC, and smaller low quality games he'd be fine, but its always better to have a graphics card
no... if gaming is what your doing with your computer you better get yourself a dedicated GPU not some integrated piece of crap. There is not really a question there, when it comes to gaming your GPU is very high priority for a multitude of reasons...
Newegg has done better with prices than tigerdirect lately. Plus they are almost always in stock. I wouldn't even trust amazon for computer parts.
