Rubies are found underground near the same levels as coal(idk if it is rare or not) Ruby Ore can be mined for a Ruby Gem Some tools have infinite durability, some do not but have at least 8k More powerful than diamond Crafting recipe same as other tools and armor Armor is SUPER PROTECTIVE Ruby block is made with 9 ruby gems So, what do ya think? I will make this a mod if it gets enough votes, so vote that YES!
Coal doesn't have a certain level to spawn in - It can spawn in any stone generated. So that would make the ore very, very common. Also Rubies were originally supposed to be in the vanilla game, but were taken out due to jeb_ being color blind (Unable to see red clearly) and confusion with the redstone ore, which is why they switched to green emeralds. I wish it could be added in the base game.. But I can't imagine you'd be able to make tools/armor out of it.
Oh, really Fill? I can do it! I have the pickaxe AND the sword AND the ore AND the gem done from a month or 2 ago... So BE READY! (P.S. When I said same levels as coal, I meant in Y COORDINATES. The ore itself is RARE.)

Yes, stanky2, but I meant it as a single-player mod for those with Forge, not for the server, where evryone would have to have it. I get ya now.
As I said on your last vote-for-mods thing. There are already multiple mods that do this, even one in FTB like harry said.
