Though, if you really want to be effective in your efforts, you should really aim to gain the squirrels' trust and become the Squirrel Queen. Doing so will effectively allow you to eradicate the squirrels at will. Catch/kill/keep as a pet. To get squirrel queen status, dance around outside and yell "BALOOLALALOOO" to get the squirrel and possibly everything else around's attention. Ignore your neighbor's worried looks, this will pass in time. Crouch down with a handful of almonds and hold some out.
