It was my first ever real rpg and one of my all time favourite games. Anyone played Champions of Norrath or Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms?
It's a pretty old one. I think they only came out on the PS2 as well I have no idea how to play them online, but it would be awesome to break it out again
yeah man it was a great game. If we ever hang, we'll have to play it though to be honest it's not extremely fun in the beginning because it's a lot of scavenging loot and constantly getting better equipment. Spent many a hour on that game.
Great now I have to power up my PS2 and get down on this. I had a blast playing through this game with my friend. It is not nearly as fun by yourself. I love to run around exploring and scavenging. The one thing that can kinda stink is when you both want to go to different areas. "Dude get up here I want to go this way!" "No I want to go this way I saw treasure!" "THE BOSS IS THIS WAY!!"
haha! yeah that style of gameplay can be a little rough sometimes but it's fun as long as you can get along. The trick is to get along and share. Like not one player just completely owning all the enemy
I completely agree. Sometimes it would get out of hand in a fun way with my friend and I but we were just enjoying the game. One time we ran around as chicks with as little armor as possible to see how far we got. It was on his memory card or I would load it and see lol. Marvel Ultimate Alliance was alright for that play style too, but it was worse with 4 people in on the action. I tried to always share loots and explore everywhere. Usually "I saw treasure" was me.
My god! How this brings back hours of memories playing with my best friend running through levels and smashing things to pieces. This game was the only reason I bought a splitter so we could play with more than just two people.
I will look into Torchlight II. I am just getting around to messing with steam. I only have a couple things on there.
Torchlight II is a ton of fun. The First one is also a lot of fun but it does not have the multiplayer functionality of the 2nd one. The predecessor games to Torchlight are also fun, they are called Fate.
