Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms is a multiplayer game where you try to 1) Smash the Red Team's heads in. 2) Get your all-powerful weapons back. 3)Smash the Red Team's heads in again. It is very, very realistic. It is pretty much the PC version of Call of Duty for FREE! Post whatcha think about dis game.
Its not realistic. Not even close. The weapons handle like toys, the ugrade system is laughable, and it commits the worst sin of all... It is very pay to win.
Yall can disagree with my post all your want, but that doesnt make it any less true. If you think its realistic, youve never been to a shooting range. The weapons dont always reflect their real world counterparts, and upgrades dont have realistic effects either, sometimes its completely nonsensical. Upgrades are expensive, sometimes illogically so. Weapon unlocks and such dont have the best flow either. And the balance is blown to fucking hell as soon as you face off against people who have chosen to empty their wallet into the game. Armor can be purchased, as well as upgrades for it, and it simply breaks everything. Add into that purchased weapons with ridiculous stats, and its easy to see how to win this game, you input your money until you stop dying. The matchmaking doesnt seem to take this into account though, so its possible to have a team of vanilla players up against a team of P2W juggernauts, which is as fun as shoving your face into a lathe. Its a shame, because the cover and movement mechanics are fantastic, the HUD is very well set up, and I like the aesthetics. I would have gladly paid money to get a game like this which was balanced, but this aint it. So, unless yall can come up with a compelling counterpoint, I still stand by the fact that its PAY TO WIN.
Hell no it no where near fucking realistic if you look at my post above I agree but doesn't change it from being a fun game
