I know these types of shows are getting really popular, and I was curious to see what was most appealing to you guys. Shows like: Star Trek Battlestar Galactica If you know of any others that are really good, please tell me. xD
Most of these shows are not current, its not that theyre 'getting popular'. Im willing to bet money on their fanbases demographics remaining consistent though. My vote for the two best are Firefly (bundle it with the Serenity movie), and Cowboy Bebop (hell, bundle THAT movie in too). Both are kind of more like space westerns, and yeah Bebop is anime. Firefly has very tight writing, and excellently done characters. Drama and humor are used to excellent effect, and despite its short lifespan it fits in an awful lot of story. Cowboy Bebop has similarly excellent story. The aesthetics are fantastic, animation is fluid, and the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal. Its engaging in a way that many shows miss out on.
By getting popular I mean a larger amount of popularity in the last however many years... Shut up because those are totally the same things and I was meaning what you said xD
