1. What is your in game name? Mraedis 2. Are you a constructor? Yus! 3. Are you the only builder on the project? Yes. 4. What is the warp to get to your plot?(ex. /p h Thr0ttie) /p h Mraedis 5. Post at least 2 pictures of your plot: http://imgur.com/a/gUAhL It's a little bland, but I'm staying true to the form. I'ts a 4th level merger sponge, made of sponges.
So eh, 12 days and no response? I am patient but it's not like it takes long nor that there are many applications.
Or a bunch of OS's getting out of their lazy pants... While I like the object you made I find it a little bland. To me this rank is about design and your wonderful mathematical build does not touch my artistic nerve very much. To me it is a No in its current form as I would have liked to see it done with a mix of materials. I'm leaving this post open for other OS's to evaluate.
Sorry but no - and I'll tell you why... 1) The scenery is bland, I ride the coaster and only see yellow walls and redstone block. What the point in going up and down and zooming around if you see the same old stuff the whole time? 2) Your coaster is an always-on coaster meaning that most of the time it's a powered rail moving you forward at one speed - real life coasters don't do that, they have a few key power boots and gravity does a lot of the work. The only place where you didn't have powered rail... 3) The coaster stalled going up a large hill and went backwards to the start where it then zoomed back through the course on a back and forth loop. 4) Anyone can do a redstone coaster - looking up stuff online anyone can do a redstone anything - but the key to Engineer is making it look good. Your redstone stuff is almost all exposed. 5) You also don't use any redstone tricks on the ride - to stop and pause it or make the wall in front of you disappear... Overall it's lacking a lot as far as a coaster goes. Go look at my plot #1 to see what I expect a player to better. Look at how little I used powered rails. I have two places where the coaster is stopped before going downhill. There is scenery (I didn't make it, I'm not that good) and the environment changes... underground, fire... There are a lot of good ways to one up my coaster and I expect to see them in any redstone coaster submitted for Engineer.
You actually got off before any of the redstone tricks, it's supposed to go back down, it doesn't loop anywhere. I'll admit the scenery is a bit bland, I originally made the menger sponge but that one was bland in itself according to Dzy, had no intention of ruining it for the coaster. The redstone is mostly exposed because the menger sponge it is inside is fully intact. It's not exactly easy hiding everything with such restraints on where you can channel signals and stuff. I'd like to note that I did not look up any tutorials, no guides on any redstone and everything I came up with in the coaster is by sheer experimentation.
