Only complaint I have is the incomplete feel I get on the interior. It feels you could still do more to the interior. However, given the size of build and the fact that you built the structure in such a way to compliment the Biome around it, as well as the details on the outer tower crystals. Pros outweighed the cons: yes.
YES! I think it looks great, and it really compliments the surrounding biome, which I wish happened more with designer builds.
Good build but I am not voting on it as I see many issues with it. Others say that you did a good job making it fit in with its surroundings, I disagree. The whole thing looks like how a NPC village would spawn in. Another tip I have would be to have some variation for the floor interior. The whole thing is stone bricks with some glowstone used for lighting. I'll vote once the terriforming is fixed, the build is good enough without the block variations on the floor.
So, the terraforming has been taken care of, it was a nuisance to me as well. The floor and mostly plain design on the interior is like that based off a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Version module, where a cold icy spire is described and the shape of the top was never really mentioned. So I took inspiration from Draenei constructs in World of Warcraft. I will not be changing the design of the floor because I like the plain feel and brings back memories of my D&D adventures in the icy spire.
