I know Mojo set up a thread about this coming March 5th but just wondering if any of you have purchased it yet and if you are impressed by the gameplay (and yes, i know, the servers are complete shite). I am yet to purchase it yet but once you can actually get on the game it looks amazing. Tell me what you think belooow!
If they ever release an update for it that makes so you don't have to be online or use cloud saves, I might consider it.
i don't think they will the only reason you need to connect is to stop pirating. There is a way to play offline. Google it
It is possible to play offline forever, but you have to re-connect to save. But I've also heard that the AI pathing is shit, and the population count is fudged, and each citizen just goes to the nearest job/house.
I like it, but I do think they have a lot to improve on. 1. Give me a legit way to play offline. For reals, I shouldn't even have to ask. 2. Allow me to create my own private server for multiplayer. I don't want to use EA servers. 3. I am NOT paying $80 for a game I cannot play immediately. Fix the wait times, guarantee a server connection for every person who purchases the game (think like we do here, offering a guaranteed slot for donators). It looks fun, but I am more than content watching youtube videos until they fix the "always connected" thing.
EA should be renamed to EW. They took SimCity off the Indian Origin store because of some pricing exploit which was completely their fault.
