Everyone has their own way of making money whether it be farming, mining, auctioning, selling, or begging. I have posted this thread to share my ideas on how to make money and I encourage you to add to the thread as well. The No-No's We've all done it. 10 seconds left in an auction for a pimped-out diamond pick, an autographed book from Davidthemerc, TechTeller's head, or one of Dettles cookies and you panic! Don't bid at the last second unless you know what the current bid is and you are confident you are only bidding the maximum you would be willing to pay. Don't let trolls drive you up on an auction. No matter how bad you want something, don't buy something for more than it is worth. Don't be a troll and drive up auctions. You'll end up bidding above the highest bidder, the highest bidder will give up, you're screwed. Don't make impulse buys. Get to you goal and then worry about buying other things. Don't be lazy. Go out and get materials. Don't just head to the local Keyshop everytime you run out of wood or stone. (Sorry, kbrz. I doubt this will slow your business.) Don't get discouraged because you can't make enough money to buy a rank in a day. Keep at it and don't give up until you have what you want. Yes! Try these! Get to know the shops network and their buy and sell prices. You don't need to memorize them but keep a decent idea of what the prices are. This is what I highly suggest. Snipe on auctions. Don't bid until the last ten seconds so you don't have to worry about racking up the money because others decide to outbid you. Make sure they feel comfortable and then, boom. Catch them off guard. (You may not always win because some people are good at preventing sniping.) By doing the 2 above, you can get great deals on items that you can sell for even better deals! Whenever I see a good deal on auction, even if it's something I don't need, I snipe it, and sell it to Keyshop for a profit. Look around shops and investigate for good deals. Did you know you can sell 16 gold ores at Keyshop for 800 ED? (By the way, always sell to the top chests at Keyshop and buy from the bottom.) I made 50,000 ED at one point after selling my hoarded gold ore. There are several great details out there and you are missing out! Your opinions/comments/ideas go here! | | | \/
Another good way to make LOTS of money is to farm Sugar cane, Full inventory of sugar cane = 36 stacks of 64 is worth 1500 approx. Very easy and fast way to make money !!!
How to get lots of money 1) get a few alts 2) Make one afk-fish place with hoppers and stuff 3) Get the afk fish mod on all the alts 4) Watch as you get many treasures (usually shit at low levels)- and fish, it's worth a LOT if cooked 5) ?? get money while you do something else Also make some 100% automatic farms near the place you afk fish, like egg farm / potion maker
Run the servers biggest farm. I don't really need any other money tactics.. Because I don't need money anymore.

I'm not knocking alts nor autofishing. I will say this though, me personally, I think they are cheating and will not use them. What are ways to make loads of ED, without alts or autofish?
I honestly don't think people need auto fish to make money, It is easy to make money and not be lazy at the same time I think banning auto fish is a good idea in the future. It takes no skill to auto fish. Just my thoughts

IMO the best way to make money is to not buy stuff you dont need. Then again i make most of my money selling people stuff stuff they dont need
