My dad (RIP dad), could grow a full beard an inch thick with no skin showing in three days. I grew half that in 4 weeks. Patchy. I came out one day all proud of my scruff and he asked "What's that bum fluff on your chin?" "Buff fluff? It took me 4 weeks to get here! It aint bum fluff." "hmmm" Scratches his full beard. "three days." "..." "..." "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
I have no idea why this just came to me, lol, but when I was a kid I really wanted blonde as my hair color. I don't remember the reason, I thought it looked pretty? But over the years I have grown to absolutely adore my auburn color (redish-brown for the boys who don't know their hair colors lol). I always get more red in it when it starts turning summer, which is totally awesome!!
I know this may sound weird but I had the exact same thought when I was younger. I loved watching Zack and Cody and wanted to be just like them..
I have a crazy laugh and fall on the floor when doing so xD I am not all that clever, quite dumb. I am friends with about 90% of the people in my grade/year. I am really weird, but people like that I have a Pikachu plush toy that talks to me...
I'm allergic to perfumes, colognes, lotions, and many other good-smelling skin/hair care but I'm not too phased by that. The only part that scares me is my allergy triggered asthma- If I'm exposed to A Lot of one, or multiple of those items, I can have an asthma attack.
Damn, I didn't really realize that that could happen. I thought it was generally from inhaling other things like dusty particles that could cause an asthma attack. I have exercise induced asthma. Not fun when I run for sports and need to get in shape and I havent for a season or two. Also, when I was a kid I had to have a machine that I would bring a mask over my nose and mouth and sit there for like 30 minutes while it ran. Had something to do with my asthma.
Yea, my form of asthma is "allergy triggered" asthma and can be just as dangerous as athletic induced. Things such as trees, swamps/bogs, and other allergies can set an attack off. (Hense why I can't got to MCSCon because of where it is located, east coast has so many triggers.) Inhaling dust and pollen do have an effect because they're not just general triggers but I'm also slightly allergic to them. Over the years though, my allergy meds have helped me build resistance to some of these allergies. Only when subjected to large amounts do I react, pluss my higher altitude geographic location helps with controlling my asthma. I also have a bit of the athletic induced, but usually I get sick to my stomach before the asthma kicks in- and it take a lot of effort to make me sick. Also that machine you mentioned is a nebulizer, I still have and use mine to this day when I have attacks as well as my fast acting inhaler. The machine works wonders and opens up my lungs longer than my inhalers when I'm home and need a treatment, and I'm happy to say that those machines have saved my life on more than one occasion.
I hate sports, but love the outdoors and walking. Im scared of bees more than Im scared of sharks, as my father had a bee garden*outside the city* and I would get stung 3-4 a day. I hate Serite for hating potatoes.(jk Serite c Im easily scared and... hmm... I like sushi c:
I can agree with you on sports, I can care less about them. To me, playing the computer is my kind of sport, and not only that, the computer doubles as an musical instrument- what? I push the buttons and if I do it right, it makes noise. With the bees- at least you are imune to be stings now. I hear that if you get stung at least once when you're young, you are most likely not going to be allergic to the stings when you are older.
I'm in the same boat as you and bajj, have a bit of both, but recently due to exercise I've been able to overcome it a lot. The medicines for asthma are actually steroids (including the nebulizer) which should be taken only in emergency. They can cause organ damage if relied on too much. I caught pneumonia in March of 2012 which brought down my immunity quite a bit and had to spend my birthday in the hospital. So yeah, there's some more trivia.
