Well, mine has been really lagging the past few days. one person has tried to help me, but nothing seemed to work. The chat works or a lil then stops for 30 seconds or so and then i get a bunch of messages, same as players. It glitches so bad i can not play the game. I tried turning off optifine, went back to deafult texture pack. I dont know what to do. I dont want to go out and buy a LAN cable if it wont help. I have 1 gig of ram. idk if malware has anything to do with it. But i really need your hel if you know anything or if you can help in anyway. Thanks for your time and help -xboxsmokey2
1gig of ram? That sounds bad already :s Anyways the server has been having those hiccups and if you don't have a good connection you'll probably feel them more. I get them for 1-2 seconds every so often
Yeh I realized that after I posted. xbox unless you have a terrible connection to your router an ethernet cable might not help, ask your parents about getting faster internet.
Then they must be working on the lines or something. It doesn't seem like its your computer because its fairly new.
First, go clean your system with Malwarebytes. As far as what you are stating, you should give us proper specs on the PC that you are using. What are you running in the background? Are you Skyping? Youtubing? Recording? I've seen Minecraft "unthrottled" use over 2gig of ram before on this server. It just depends on where you are at in the world, and if you do not have enough ram your computer is just going to slow down your processes. As far as your internet lagging, call your internet provider. Ask them to come out and monitor your lines. If you upgraded, and feel it is slow this will not cost you anything not even a service fee. It could very well be your router if anything. But, in all fairness. Post your specs. It would help a lot more. CPU, Version of Windows, Video Card, Ram, etc.
