Just don't start too early. It is way too early to cry "wolf/map change" when the chances are big that we won't get one this update.
A tired Natbyte walks up to the podium and says to all of the players of Minecraftserver: "Guys there is not going to be a map reset until 1.8. Sorry." Meh, I would love a map reset, above all a currency change, a bit less... inflated. But I love this map. Exile won't be coming for some time, I guarantee. Dzy and the majority of staff agree too. Map expansion is easier, and nat can afford the amount of memory needed. He's already got like 5 servers running.
I want everyone to take a look at these pictures. (Not trying to start anything, just make a point.) The chunks past the 7,500 mark in almost all directions have become this glitchy and blocky look, which has come out to look weird. And where do most of our newer users normally have to go? Out. Because areas around the spawn area become more and more populated everyday. Not allowing some of the newer ones to lay a home. Now, this is more along the lines of what we would have if the map were to reset, (Islands have been edited out of this picture, but you get the idea...) A more flowing map feel to it, and we would no longer feel trapped to a single piece of land like the island of a map we've had last map, and this map. Just throwing my thoughts out there. (This will most likely bite me in the ass later. XL)
exile is basically where everybody goes down underground and has to survive, kinda like a underground town and you are not aloud to go up to the surface, you have a wall and basically build a home into it and are aloud to take a double chest of items from the map we are on now. they always do it when there is a map reset coming.
Well fair doos, exile was my favourite event and a close second was sky stealers that shiz was funny Eastyz is right to an extent, and it is always a lot of fun, but i think at the end of the last map it was changed to only elders or higher could join as me had newish players coming in and griefing and stealing and it was just a pain in the ass, also adding once you go underground that is all you have you cannot go above ground and you cannot go and see sunlight.
We've made it so if you are a settler. You can still enter as long as you have 2 months+ with little to no jail/bans. Being caught doing something wrong in Exile to the extent of greifing however, will get you kicked from it.
