As it happens , i was busy helping Nickcreepertje10 with how to get constructor and i was already struggling because of the language barrier. (Nick is danish and i know very little danish and he knows good enough english but spells alot wrong) Anyway , i was trying to help him , telling him to click member and all that and i wasn't allowed to post the link to where he had to put his IGN or www.minecraftserver.com this left me being muted meaning i had to use /me to explain i was muted , then having to /msg nick what to do taking up even more characters. Could we , if we can't allow to get rid of /mute at least remove those two links from being seen as spam or advertsing? thanks alot
Good idea.. But did you know explaining is mostly done in /msg ? You just type /msg [name] , and you will enter the private chat so you don't always need to put /msg in front of your message. But true, the mute thing is really annoying.
i know how to /msg but even then i need to post links and if i have alot to explain , it's worse because i need to send like 7 /msgs and it gets annoying ect ect ect
if another player asks me something while i am muted they expect me to reply and i have to /msg them to tell them i am muted , at which point some of them don't know what that means , so i have to explain in one /msg what it means and why and in another the answer to their question at which point nick has already asked me several questions i need to answer in another 400 billion /msgs. That may be a slight over exaggeration...
It is unfortunate but I see how a lot of people try to abuse chat and this, while it could be better, only catches good stuff about 10% of the time. Why not write it in a book and give him the book?
This is pretty old but... You can do /g [message] and it bypasses AntiAd. Example: /g HELLO MY NAME IS ENDER Outcome: EnderDragonzFTW: HELLO MY NAME IS ENDER That's how you talk in all caps or say It's with a capital I and a ' without the spam hating you and you can display links.
