A couple points.. 1) You are OK with redstone, which is a close but not quite good with redstone. All of your devices are simple things that most people build with RS their first week of experimenting with it. Also, for engineer - you need to be GREAT with redstone, not just good. 2) Part of working with redstone is being able to hide the construction of it. That makes it much harder to make things sometimes but it's necessary. You wouldn't wire a doorbell at home and leave the wires hanging out and visible would you? 3) Engineer and Designer both require you to use your whole plot - and not just little things here and there - but to make a theme, a cohesive planned SOMETHING. You need to spend weeks on your plot making it awesome. I'm guessing you spent 60 minutes on yours.
