You can build this with anything, trap door to prevent killers just put the chickens in and a stairway if you don't have fly. Only requires a 3x3 area but the actual area where the chickens lay eggs are 1x1 area. You can either do a collection point where you stand AFK, or you can do a hopper to chest sort of thing :3 Hope you enjoy! P.S. I was on creative server so I couldn't spawn chickens P.S.S. Why the hell would you make like giant 50x50 area for chickens? Just make it 1x1! :3
So again, how does a normal 50x50 area with the same amount of chickens not cause lag? The one I have is 64 chickens plus I don't lag AT ALL
I may not have the most informed answer, but I assume it's because the chickens are pushed by other chickens so when you have, say, 10 chickens in a 1 by 1 by area, the chickens are constantly pushing each other though they cannot be moved because they are unable to leave the 1 by 1 area. So I guess in a way, it confuses the game and causes lag.
thats like saying why not take all the entities in the world and put them into a 1x1 space instead of the whole world. a bit less but you get the point.
If you take 7 billion humans and put them in to a 1 foot by 1 foot area, you'll lag out in real life.
