It changes color due to how your eyes work/ the condition your eyes are in. If your rods and cones are not as active you will see blue and black, if your rods and cones are active you will see whitish blue and gold. if you see black and blue, you probably see better at night then people who see whitish and gold.
I can already see this being a bit of a debate. Don't argue or go to the point of saying anything insulting. and we won't have any issues here. Also, I think it's "I really don't give a damn, it's just a dress." color.
