Want to get yourself a nice cape? Wanna brag about it at your friends? Now you can! This is a mod which enables capes for everybody! You can choose your own cape, or create your own cape! First, go to http://www.mccapes.com There you can download the file you need and create an account for your cape (it requires your exact full username as account name!). To install the file: -Before we start, the first thing you will need is a file archive program, two popular programs for this on Windows are WinRAR and 7-Zip. -Navigate to the Minecraft folder on your computer. Depending on what operating system you are using, it will be in one of these places: Windows 7: C:\Users\Your Computer Username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft Windows XP/Vista: C:\Documents and Settings\Your Computer Username\Application Data\.minecraft Linux: /home/Your Computer Username/.minecraft Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft In this folder there are a few files and folders but we need to open the bin folder. Inside the bin folder, you will need to open your minecraft.jar file with the file archive program you have installed. This file may be called just minecraft without the .jar part if you have file extensions disabled. With your minecraft.jar file opened, you will need to first delete a folder called META-INF that will stop the mod from working. After you have done this, you can drag the file you have downloaded into the archive program to add it to the minecraft.jar file. Everything should now be working and you can open Minecraft the way you usually do and you'll have your cape! To get your own cape, you need the account you created earlier. First log in with your made account on http://www.mccapes.com and go to the capegalery, here you can select a cape you want to use. If you find yourself a nice cape you simply click on "Use this cape". Now you're ready and you have your own cape!
