Datamoshing

    I was up at 12:00 PM doing this.
    Datamoshing is when you take an image or video and fuck it up so that it looks both glitched and beautiful at the same time. It can be done in a variety of ways, from audio editing software to just modifying the bytes. Here's some of the stuff I came up with.

    That one was after modifying bytes. I hid some messages in there.

    That is a YouTube video after lots of iterations of byte modification. Most of it was done with an automated script.

    So did you just replace random bytes with other random bytes using a hex editor?
