OK Sam... I heard you saying that you suck as a builder and I'll tell you this, you don't. You just need to, literally and figuratively work on your rough edges. Look at Maggie's head or Homer's legs and arms - all square edges. The hair on Homer's head is, well, it looks like a small house because his head isn't round and you don't have the hair down on top of it. What you are lacking is patience and planning - you had a great idea, and good execution, but you didn't plan it out - as in you could only fit 2 people on the couch and all 5 would have been better, Snowball and Santa's little helper would have been even better... your floor shouldn't match the walls, in fact it should be green, and why are the Simpson's watching The Simpson's? All the OS's who looked at this agreed it was nice, and a great try and even a great idea - but the problem was that you didn't plan it out first, and you rushed it - rather than spend a few hours tweaking homer or noticing details like the carpet you just submitted it. Had you put a few more days into this - it likely could have passed. Rushed builds almost never make it.
