Title, only thing I ask is that you don't go spoiling the book(s), but just give simple plot summaries of the book to avoid any potential readers of which that might want to read it at some point. Quarantine: The Loners, The Saints, and The Burnouts. (Series) Ever think high-school was hell? Ever feel like high-school was a game of survival that you played from day to day with social groups, activities, and the people? Well, imagine all of that, remove all the rules, remove the teachers, and lock yourself in with 2000 other students. Welcome to McKinley High. The situation? You and all your peers are infected with a deadly parasitic virus that kills anyone not going through a puberty phase; even when you, yourself is no longer going through it. You read through the eyes of David Thorpe, and his brother Will as they try to survive the lockdown. Through the madness of everything, Gangs begin to form as food drops come every two weeks to feed the students and give them supplies. Your run down of gangs goes as followed: Varsity (Sports Guys), Pretty Ones (The 'Pretty/Popular' Girls Only.), Sluts (Girls Only), Nerds (Tech Freaks), Geeks (Art Freaks), Skaters (Skateboard/Other Skating Things), Freaks (Never really figured who these guys were in terms of theme, so I think it's just an open Gang...), and the Scraps (The people who aren't in any gang). Welcome to Hell, and your only way out is to Graduate. P.S, these book series had my heart racing and made me cry like a bitch.
Divergent. Five Factions: Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless, Erudite. Pick one and try to make it past initiation. If you don't you're factionless. Try and survive.
The Chaos Walking Trilogy is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't stop reading. Also Farenheit 451. At the moment I'm really enjoying Letters of Insurgents.
