Before attempting a response, please read the rules and how the game works.

    Rules
—1) Ensure that you have fully addressed the question(s).
—2) Ensure that your grammar is easy to understand.
—3) Ensure that your answer is not ambiguous such that more than one interpretation can be drawn from it.
—4) Please number your answers accordingly with their respective questions. You do not need to copy and paste the questions.
—5) Do not use any resource to aid you in answering these questions.
—6) You cannot attempt to answer a question more than once. If you did not answer all of the questions in your first message, you can attempt to answer ones you have not attempted in another message.
—7) Remember that this game is just for fun. There will be some questions that may seem difficult, and others that may seem easier.

    How the Game Works
A set of questions will be given to you. You can attempt to answer any amount or combination of them. You do not have to answer all of them. If you are the first person to answer a particular question correctly, you win an MCS prize that I had assigned to each question. Some questions will have better prizes than others, but none of the prizes will be bad. I will reply to your answer saying what you got correct and what you won. For instance, 1000 GN or a stack of diamonds. I will mark the questions that have been answered correctly as answered, so make sure that you aren't answering questions that no longer need to be answered. I will post saying when there is an hour remaining for any further attempts.

Special thanks to Luciano for donating! You can expect better prizes this round!

    8400 GN total this round!
Now 16800! Thanks, again, to Luciano!

    5) A 1500-kilogram car is traveling along a circular track that has a diameter of 50 meters. If the track has a constant bank of 15 degrees, and the coefficient of static friction between the car's tires and the track is 0.85, what is the maximum speed that the car can travel along the track without losing traction?

    6) All but one number equals 1 when divided by itself. What number is it, and what does it equal when divided by itself?
    - answered by FillWerrel

    7) The formula for the time it takes for an object to fall is given here:
    image.jpg
Using this formula, John tried to calculate exactly how long it takes for a ball to fall when dropped from a height of 1,000,000 meters. Now he tests to see if his answer was correct by timing how long it takes. He finds that the time was considerably longer than what he had calculated. Assuming that no human error is involved and that no other object besides Earth exerts a gravitational force on the ball, propose two or more explanations as to why it took longer than he had calculated.

    8) Which of the following is a topological sphere and why?
Fork, engagement ring, coffee mug, cheese grater, window screen, donut

    9) A red supergiant star implodes on itself millions of light years away, causing a massive amount of energy to be expelled in the form of a supernova. At that exact same point in time, the Hubble Telescope takes a picture of the star. However, instead of getting a picture of a supernova taking place, only a massive yellow star is photographed. Why?

    9) A red supergiant star implodes on itself millions of light years away, causing a massive amount of energy to be expelled in the form of a supernova. At that exact same point in time, the Hubble Telescope takes a picture of the star. However, instead of getting a picture of a supernova taking place, only a massive yellow star is photographed. Why?

Since Hubble's camera's utilize sensitivity to light in order to form a photograph, the star's light reached Hubble while it was still a giant yellow ball of gas. However, given the millions of light years it took- light years meaning how long it took light to travel in an earth year- by the time the light given off by the star in its younger stage had reached Hubble, the star had already aged and reached it's end of it's life.

Later on if Hubble was pointed in the exact same spot for another duration long enough, the telescope would be able to take photos of the explosion millions of years later.

    5) 14,3 m/s
    http://i.imgur.com/YlyenFx.png

    7) a) To get to that formula, force exerced by air is not considered so it will assume acceleration is gonna be constant so speed will always increase. Acceleration is gonna decrease over time until it's equal to force exerced by air at which point velocity no longer increases
    b) The further you get away from a planet, the lower gravity will be (invertly proportional to d^2) so theres that too (?)

Congratulations to Luciano for answering questions 5 and 7 correctly! You've won 1500 GN and 2000 GN!

I got 14.19 m/s, but that's just because you rounded. Work looked perfect.

Exactly the two reasons I had in mind. I didn't know if I was missing any so I said "two or more."
