Hey all. I know I'm pretty quiet on the server. I mostly hang out to relax before or after work. I have just one area regioned off near Oak Town and have been playing with colors and architecture, trying to get better at building survival style. I built this giant glass building with no idea what to put inside and eventually decided to bring the beach to the tundra...and then make a giant free-willy. He's a little skinny and I'll probably try to make him look a little better eventually, but for now I'm happy with him. Come visit anytime, circa: X:-3965 Z:2750
I must come see this asap!!! This was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I got to see the whale that starred in the movie before they released him. Looks good I cant wait to see it in person!
If it could fit, making a minecart track around the top rim would be pretty neat, you'd be able to get a 360 view of the whole whale
I saw him too! His real name was Keiko and he was at the Oregon Coast Aquarium when I saw him. One of my early ideas was to do a minecart rollercoaster all inside that building. I haven't ever built one, so its a possibility.
I started on a roller coaster! It starts and wraps around Willy a couple times until gravity overtakes it and it goes back to the beginning. Sometimes it has enough boost to make it all the way to the top. I don't know why each trip is different. It's pretty ugly 'cause I don't really understand redstone or minecart properties well, but I'm happy it works.
