You have aquired 40k very fast, can you provide more details of your farming, or who employed you please.
I first settled near a water source, did some work for BananaDave (my neighbour) and then ended up working for myself (got some seeds/bones and started farming wheat) The next day, I managed to buy 2 cows so I could breed them and from there, I grinded my wheat/cows farm with bonemeal to quickly rise to 40k!
