Creative Ice Tower

So this is my first attempt ever of a big project... I dunno if I'll finish it up but I'll use this thread to check how its progressing and so on - or check later how different my initial ideas were from the final result XD

So whats going on here:
The black quarter of a circle near the blue wool is the main tower base, the light gray/gray glass is probably gonna be some ice/blue glass mix, blue wool is gonna be ice/packed ice
The plot is sorta symetrical - theres 4 of this " blue lake ", I want to sorta do a underground frozen cavern, with ice spikes and inter connect them thru tunnels, with a lower access to the tower basement hidden somewhere.

no planning, the only thing I did was make sure the gray glass base was 42 blocks away from the corner, and make sure it matched up

Edit: I finished 1 of the 4 ice things on the corners, but ofc this is going slower than a turtle
maybe in 2016 i can finish xD
