Joseph kony is the leader of a rebel group in Uganda, what he does is basically abduct children, make them kill their parents, then turns the girls into sex slaves and the boys into his personal army. If that isn't horrifying enough, he has done that to over 30,000 african children, and a recent campaign has started to make Kony famous, why? The only way to get him finally captured is to educate the world, and especially people who can make an influence like celebrities. Please, please, please watch the following video, of course it's half an hour but it's really important in this cause.

try to support this cause, at least tell your friends. Kony has already spread to parts of Sudan and the surrounding countries doing the exact same thing, imagine your kid being abducted and a few weeks later them coming back, and suddenly stabbing you to death? As soon as I get the permission to i'm going to try and convince my friends to print posters and hang them all around our school.

    Stop Kony 2012.

Don't let yourself be sucked into bandwagons unless you truly, truly are in a position to help, are willing to do so, and are already in the process of doing research to find organizations other than Invisible Children to do so.

I'm not going to do the research for you, but clearly while problems in Africa are bad (m'kay), this does not mean that targeting one person in the country, much less one that isn't an important one, will do shit.

PS: I don't want to see this kind of political agenda stuff on these forums again. We haven't had any kind of rule against politics or religion, but they don't really belong on these forums. The few we've had haven't gone much past memes and such, so they're fine, but if any devolve into flaming, bans will be had.
