Okay, you all might be thinking "wasn't his plot just denied" well it was posted on February 9th, and in the rules say "DO NOT POST MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION FOR DESIGNER PER MONTH" so I believe that this is eligible and has nothing about how long after its denied. (sorry if I am wrong on this). 1. What is your in game name? Marshall 2. Are you a constructor? Well of coarse I am! 3. Are you the only builder on the project? Yes 4. What is the warp to get to your plot?(ex. /p h Thr0ttie) /p h Marshall 5. Post at least 2 pictures of your plot Some notes: Dzyriq denied it last time for missing some small details and suggested I add these Make the bedroom feel more alive Add a place for the people if they get hurt Changes made: Added American flag Made it so you can go inside the tank Changed missile silo Added tall grass Added bathroom with showers, toilets, and sink Added ICU Changes to bedroom Added cars to parking lot Removed some parking spaces/roads Added tail lights and license plates to cars
Allow me to jot down some things I noticed while walking through your plot... 1. Had it not been for the gate, i would have had no idea what to make of the guard post where you enter/exit. You should really consider adding a sign (as most US forts have) and add some nice features inside the small guard station. Maybe a computer or something? Small Fridge? Guards gotta get bored and hungry while in that small hut all day. 2. The gravel roads are very large, and leave a lot of empty space. Consider adding designs to them (carpet lines, etc). Also, I got lost very easily and didn't know where things were... (Hint: signage wouldn't hurt to point out locations). 3. The hangar for the tank was a bit bare. It was nicely designed, however didn't seem complete. The outside doors are very flat and don't give you a good feeling when you are walking in. Once you get in, you are more distracted by the walls being just a blob of green than anything else. Add some details here liven it up a bit. Maybe add some machinery to fix the tank, some spare parts, etc? I'd also move the ammunition stash inside, and actually make some weapon looking figures on the wall. I can see where you are going with the wood, but in reality, nobody really stores ammo outside in the elements - especially not a military base. Move it inside! You might even consider making a few bays in the floor for servicing the tank (think like an auto repair shop...). 4. I believe the one signature item is missing from this base: military looking trailers. Put some around the base. Maybe add a missile or something on top of one. I think the one thing I see most when passing bases are the large lots where these vehicles and pull-behinds just sit for 70% of the year. Don't make a large lot, but adding a nice trailer and/or/maybe truck beside the hangar or silo with some missiles would really fill that gap. And adding some empty trailers where the ammunition is currently would help as well with that flat spot. 5. The garage was nice, however the inside and upstairs was pretty bare. In fact, it looked uninhabited, which is odd considering planes are taking off and helicopters are landing. Put in some offices, maybe a server room. Also add in a place to repair those vehicles. Bases normally don't drive their trucks down the road for servicing, so consider where you'd take them to fix if they break - possibly the hangar too? A side entrance would really work there I think. 6. To my displeasure, there is no flight control tower. Must be pretty scary to be that pilot and not know if another plane is going to land while you are trying to take off/taxi! (Hint...) 7. Add some stuff in the sniper tower, maybe a computer, radio, chair, etc? Hope you took all of this as constructive criticism. I know there was a lot, but I really think you can make this work... GL to you MN-- I mean... Taco.
While all these suggestions are good, I do have very limited space to work with. Thank you for your suggestions though
As I skimmed through the screenies, I noticed that a lot of space was taken up by grass that was bonemealed. While yes, adding tall grass was something that you added, it doesn't add too much to the plot. Using the space you filled with grass and flowers could let you add more features, buildings, or details. The plot isn't bad, but it can always get better. EDIT: I absolutely love what you did with the stars on the flag.
Update: Added parts for tank Added machine guns in watch towers & added some in the hanger to protect the tank EDIT Another update: Made repair garage
