Dont you need the servers seed to use a downloader mod? Or was the server just lagging so bad that it let you place blocks or something, cuz it looks like only certain amount of chunks are loaded.
Back in br4, I asked nat if I could use the world downloader mod, to dowload Hoth ( my old town) and make a video on creative. you dont need a seed, just install the mod, ask nat and there you go!
For the world downloader mod you do not need the seed. The only thing the mod does is save the chunks that are loaded on your client.
