So there are nether bases protected with oby down to bedrock so us travs cant get inside, however, there is still another way with boats. My question is if using boats to go through walls count as a glitch that shouldnt be used. Also, will it be allowed to grief in the nether with boats (not that great of a grief though) Heres proof of me being inside someones netherbase that had oby to bedrock.
All grief is allowed in the nether world. It's a lawless zone. No regions, no protections- you could burn it to the ground. However, abusing glitches of the game isn't allowed even in the wild lands, i dont believe.
Well, I dont like the idea of getting in with boats, but since the regions allow placing boats (can be fixed) I cant see why not. But the bigshots maybe have diffrent opinions...
Short answer, Do not abuse Glitches. It is very good to keep this in mind in any online game you play. All of the big games on the internet has this rule in some way or another.
im not to familiar with the glitch concerning boats, but would doubling up the wall so its a dual layers obsidian wall stop it? Or doing 1 wall of obsidian, middle wall of lava and outside layer of obsidian again?
As far as i know, you cant place boats in the region. Im not to familiar with the glitch either, but you basically ride the boat through the wall. You take damage of course, so the thicker the wall the more damage you take. A way I think that can prevent people from doing this is by just having your region wall a little inside the actual region and having a block or 2 buffer outside the wall, or having a lava floor outside your wall. The boats need to be placed somewhat inside the walls, they cant be pushed into it. With lava on the floor, the boat wont be able to be placed, and I dont think you can place boats, but i know for a fact that once the boat is in the region you cant destroy it. A cool thing about this is, if you die in the wall, your items will like... be inside the block. You would need to destroy the block to see your items pop out lol. So its a risky thing doing this.
