It’s Armed Forces Day here in the US. At least in my area, it’s not really a celebrated holiday, but it probably should be. I know we have at least a couple players who are serving or have served so I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for your time, thank you for your sacrifice, thank you for your service. You are all amazing individuals. I wish there were words or actions that could truly justify how appreciative I am. Unfortunately, this simple thank you will have to do. I know a handful of other countries have similar “holidays” at different times during the year, but I am going to extend this note of thanks to all forces around the globe whose mission and duty it is to try and keep this world safe for all. It's not really as black and white as you might think. Soldiers really do make a noble sacrifice, but unfortunately much of it goes to enable the corrupt government. What is noble and what is right is to fight for people, to fight for the ones you love. Not some distant government run by corrupt bureaucrats who just see you as another tool. So for all of you who have fought to preserve and protect the people of America, thank you.
