Performance issues

    Hello everyone , Im using a different laptop [Dell inspiron 1545 , Intel celeron cpu 900 @ 2.20GHz 2.19GHz , 3gb ram] But it dosent run minecraft good at all , i use optifine and still only get 0-5 fps ingame , It has a Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset family graphics , Any ideas on how to tune it to make Mc run better ? {p.s i was using a acer extensa 5230e 1gb previously and it run great}What i have now is better but dosent run it as well as i expected , i can bearly play :(Any ideas ?

    I would suspect its your graphics. Also, is that CPU dual core? My laptop is a Studio 1555 with a Core2Duo 2.4 and an AMD graphics card (something kinda cheap I assume, I don't recall the exact model number), and I average 60-90 fps now (10-20 on last map). I'd try to get CCleaner and run it, as well as running minecraft through GameBooster. I noticed a good increase and more stability. They key is to eliminate background processes that kill your CPU. I'd also check internet connection speeds at speedtest.net. That could tell you a lot!
