    Yes you read the topic correctly.

    The aim of this contest is to see who can make the best redstone museum/school to help other players understand how redstone works. When the time is up A vote will be cast to see who wins.

    The people who get to vote are:
    Survival Staff
    Pvp Staff
    People taking part in the contest.

    What to think of when you build:
    Demonstrate as much about redstone as you know
    How you demonstrate is inportant
    Do not forget the looks.
    The more interactive the museum/school is the higher your chance is to win.

    Prizes: On the survival server
    1:st 20000 Ed
    2:nd 15000 Ed
    3:rd 10000 Ed
    4:th 5000 Ed

    Prizes: On the PvP server
    1:st 300 gold
    2:nd 225 gold
    3:rd 150 gold
    4:th 75 gold

    P.S. If Aqua approves the the prize can be cashed out in Pvp server gold. In that case Aqua will decide the exchange rate.

    Dzy, before this goes any further. Will this go into when 1.5 comes out, as A LOT has changed in 1.5 such as BUD switches are useless in the next update and stuff like that. So that players dont build useless stuff that dont work in the next update. Thanks :)

    Wouldn't people who are taking part in the contest be biased when they're part of the voting committee? Everyone would just vote for their own creations, I say have only the staff vote.

    Even if everyone votes for themselves it will even out. Some may recognize that others' creations are far better than theirs is. I'm only worried about the logistics of getting so many people to vote.

    I will set the vote rules later, Im thinking on something like the eurovision song contest vote system were you are not allowed to vote on your own creation

    P.s. There will be a time limit for how long you can vote. Then Ill count the votes I get in, simple as that.

    from the replies to this thread it looks like it will be a easy to get some prize money if you choose to compete at all.

    I'm sorry, did some miscalcalculations and I wont be able to play until the third... So I wont be able to finish my school... You can use it for your own schools or something.. Maybe I should just say it free for anyone to use at my home:2

    People!! keep in mind that the redstone contest will end soon. Please post your contribution here before March 3
    There are 4 prices and only 3 contestants. Any quick build here has a good chance to win 5000 if they bother to build anything and apply.
