I built a giant Parthenon out of boredom.. I'm going to make the outside a little more 3-d eventually, and add some sort of garden around the side as well. For some reason the stupid hedge keeps disappearing... The pictures hardly do it justice due to terrible rendering. I couldn't render the whole damn building in one shot. Check it out in person, it's my plot #1.
Looks nice, now the hedge problem could be that you are only placing leaf blocks. Try placing some log blocks under them.
