    You should of put a space between : and D as it creates a smiley face if you don't

    I looked at your plot and it needs some work maybe pick a ship or two and make them bigger with more detail. Your battle damage stuff is nice and I like the engines on the destroyer - also if you are going to make a black box, put a roof on it, and if it's space - put some stars in... maybe use steps to make 1/4 block holes and put light behind the black blocks....
