I usally don't get much help from these, but I thought I'd try I made a small 'Map' or something in low quality xD The interiors (a munth of my work) Floor One - Entrance (Top), Bar (Center Right), Gambling Room #1 (Left), Restrooms #1 (Bottom Middle Right), Restrooms #2 (Bottom Left), Some emotional version of a disco xD (Bottom), Cafe (Right), Janitor's Closet (Leading to easter egg room) Floor Two - Gambling Room #2 (Left), Library (Right) Floor Three - Hotel lobby (Right), Restrooms #3 (Left) Floor Four - Hotel Rooms Bottom Floor Five - Hotel Rooms Top Floor Six - Enertainment Room (Left), Indoor Swimming Pool (Right) And finally what's completed, the exterior (another munth of my time x_x I perfect small flaws all the time) - 4 large fountains, 4 small fountains, 2 small decorative pond things, some wood things at the side, another secret room, the ivy gate, The zane's casino sign that is supposed to be flashing but isn't because redstone logic, The outdoor swimming pool, some weird light things I put on the side, some small grassy spots at the gate and inside the large fountains That's all the work I've put into my /p h:4 legopossible so far, and I don't know anything else to do to it. Should I scrap it and make something else or put small things into it so I can actually look at it without feeling bad? I don't have too much room left in the interior... Well at least for legitimate hallways and rooms. I'm sorta giving up on idea, and I'm giving up on the entire story of Zane too -3-
What is on the inside is just as important as the outside. Now, on the outside I feel you need more patters on the walls as in places they are solid stone brick. On the interior you used stone brick and circle stone brick mostly. While all the furniture looks really nice and well detailed the ceiling, walls, and floors need more. Try using another material to build with. I see you did a nice job with the lapis and diamonds, why not try adding some of that to it? You don't need to delete the plot, just express more ideas into it.
Well I was thinking more of this when I built it And I know exactly what to do, I just no longer know how to use WE properly because Nat made it all weird whether on purpose or not xD
^^^ The problem with designing a build using a specific texture pack and shader pack is that when you take either of them away you run the risk of it looking bland/ugly/etc. For example, your build looks very nice in your pictures using all your custom modifications... but then you look at mndudes pictures and see a completely different picture. That is always one of the bigger challenges when building things to be judged by others, you have to take into account that they are not seeing what you are seeing. My suggestion would be three fold. First, build using default or a texture pack that crosses over to default well. Second, turn the shaders off. Third, Add layering and depth to your walls/floors/Ceiling/etc so that when i look at it im not looking at a flat surface.
I like all of these small suggestions, but I meant something big. Like an entire other part to the building or something. I don't know where I would put it either.
