The Spawn Jail Incident of 14 April, 2012
Based on an actual first-hand account recorded in the world of Cryinia.

On April 14th, 2012, at approximately 12:54 PM Pacific Standard Time, two prisoners were incarcerated in the Spawn Jail. Both of these prisoners had allegedly been violently exchanging insults and rough-housing each other for reasons unknown, forcing the server staff to intervene and send them to the penitentiary. Their incarceration was immediately followed by an upsurge in interest by the local server population, as the rough-housing continued within the jail walls, reportedly being 'very amusing to watch.'

Allegedly, a third person of interest, Deathweek, began to harass and verbally taunt the two prisoners. Following a barrage of warnings issued by the server staff over broadcasts and standard messages, Deathweek was jailed himself. He had been warned repeatedly by the staff to stand down and leave the jail. At this point, the row deepened, bringing ever more interested builders to the scene and causing the server staff to decide to end the jail's visiting hours early. Immediately, the small number of builders began resisting the order to disperse. Deathrulz0 then issued new warnings to everyone to leave the jail visiting hall immediately. No one complied. Deathrulz0 then threatened to jail anyone who refused to obey the order to vacate the jail. Several people, clearly frightened, chose to comply, leaving the building.

I immediately headed for the spawn to investigate personally. Several builders still remained within the premises of the Spawn Jail, defiant and unwilling to acknowledge the authority of the server staff. Pocnet and Deathrulz0 again repeated the order for everyone to leave. At last, the defiant builders gave in and left the jail. At this point, one of the prisoners began to spam the server's chat in retaliation for his incarceration, to which Deathrulz responded by muting him and extending his jail sentence, which had already been set at 50 minutes.

Eventually, Deathweek was released from jail, as he had only committed a slight offense. The whole incident soon quieted down to irrelevance, and the server returned to normal shortly after.

    THE END
