This is the error i keep getting after about 5mins of playing on the server : Internal exception: java.net.socketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed Any suggestions/fixes to help me ?
are all your drivers updated and you have the latest version of Java? its possible your java has gone bad for some reason and needs new install.
no just that , i freeze then get disconnected... mabey its my internet ? Never happened before until yesterday - its normaly running fine..
I get all those errors the one above ^ out of memory, connection reset, and some other funky junk one.
try turning your router off for a bit and then back on. I googled that error and from what i've gathered people have fixed it by: It went away on its own after a few hours. Turning off router for a while. Also one guy on another server had this error and nothing fixed it, had the server admin delete his player config files from the server. (lose inventory and all homes) and it apparently fixed his issue and he no longer got the error.
Whenever i get any error on a game i usually start by flushing my dns, open CMD and type: ipconfig flushdns i think thats right, if i remember correctly.
long shot, but its worth a try. check your firewall and see if somehoe MC is not allowed. dont see that beign it has its a recent issue, but you know indows...
I had the same issue in the past. It was random and I dont remember how I fixed it. Check to make sure your java is the right bit (64 or 32). Also try the router unplug thing. I think I did both of these to get mine fixed.
eireluke, does it black screen and freeze your pc up? I've been disconnected in all weird and wacky ways this past week and seem to have fixed it all. Now the only disconnect I get is with low fps (like today ), or a lack of power due to storms (yes, I've lost power twice this week). My only real recommendation is to completely remove minecraft from your computer, then completely remove java. Then reinstall both. I found that one of the java updates fails to write over the existing java installation, leaving you with two java installations (and causing major problems). To check this, open control panel, then search "java." Click the result, bringing up a windows popup, and select the java tab, then press view. You should only see one instance of java here (one line, not multiple lines). If you see multiple lines, delete java via control panel "uninstall a program" than download the latest version. I did this and have not had problems since (I also allocated 2gb of RAM to java, solving the "out of memory problem"). This is the only thing I can resolve to seeing how it says it is a software issue.
