Well considering they just delayed BF: Hardline about a month ago to 2015. Maybe they're rethinking their ways.
Wait for the sims 4 to come out. They aren't even including toddlers or pools in the base game for crying out loud!
... You do realize that they're still working on it...and that would be Maxis's decision, not EA's. EA is the publisher...
Then why was EA one of the most hated companies of the decade? EA has contracts with Maxis that require them to finish the game within a certain amount of time, such as the failure titled the new sim city that didn't even work the first month because it required a constant connection to their shitty servers that didn't even work 95% of the time. Maxis had wrap up the games development as soon as they could to meet the time requirement. Same story with battlefield 4. It is fine now but when it first came out the multiplayer is literally unplayable.
Fill is right on the BF4 part. I picked up the game on midnight release, granted I had to wait a day or two to install/play cause my comp doesn't have a cd drive. I only played it for one sitting before I stopped because it was so laggy and hard to play. I didn't play it again until after the 2nd xpac released.
