Holy hell the 8-bit was amazing! I liked it a lot! The classical one was pretty good too, but not as intense as the second one! Mind if I end up using it for something in a video?

Thanks so much buddy! Classical one would be better than it is if it were done lol. Yes go right ahead and use it! Only thing I ask is credit when needed. I've never had anyone ask me if they could use my music for something like a project so it's really an honour that you ask :) Thank you

No promises, but definitely could be good video intro music or something to that extent.

Yeah I hear you. I'll likely use it as that at some point too. It's cool to make a different song for every intro/outro.

Something I've been trying to work on. Just so many projects it's hard to finish them all!
Also, if anyone has questions on why I write what I do, or whatever, just ask :)

    YAY! another piece by Ponm.
I started listening to this via my laptops speakers, then paused it and went no, I'll listen with my good headphones and do it justice. The difference is phenomenal.

I love the layering you have done in this one. The transition at the beginning from horns into bass was amazing.
The drums add a soldier-esk feeling to the song. In regards with the piano you seem to have a similar theme to your first posted one, running through you at this time. This one is faster and more upbeat, but I hear the same chord range/similar sequence. Am I on the nail with this, or just hearing things?

Overall great piece. Keep raising your skill. (thumbsup)

Thanks man :) Good ear! yeah this was unintentional but I went back and listened to the first one after this and noticed the chords flow similarly in certain areas. In the first tune, I messed around with sus chords all over the place, and I didn't do that in this one, however there is a similar motion in chords except for the second chord. The first song, one section goes 1,6,3,7,1 and this one goes 1,5,3,7,1 but it still has the same flow. I really appreciate the feedback man :) just creating short tunes like this and hearing feedback is really helping me grow!

Ponm, how do you feel about me being more critical with my feedback?
I try to be encouraging as much as I can, but I also notice other things, that, I don't want to say, because, well, I know what it is like to have an Artwork critiqued. I can take it personally, especially when I pour my soul into its creation. I am learning not to take things personally, and it takes time.

Bearing in mind that I am not a musical expert, what I say as feedback is my opinion, you can take it or leave it : are you strong enough / would you like me to pull your pieces apart? Or do you prefer the slow and gentle way of feedback?

Whatever you feel is better. I mean these songs I put up, though they take hours to make, are pretty much first takes and I too hear many things in it that need attention, but I just don't have that time right now with work and practicing several other instruments. It's not perfect, and to me, these wouldn't be acceptable to put on the market. I know you mean well if you do pull it apart and I'm okay with that as it will only make me better motivated. I've gone through pretty much my whole life hearing things that could be better with my music and sometimes it is exhausting to hear so idk. There was a time I could spend entire days practicing and growing, but now I like being able to put in a few hours before bed growing musically and sharing them and hearing feedback, good or bad. It's all the time I have now. It's all apart of the experience and I'm humbled enough to stand by this work even though it's not perfect and say, this is what I have for now. I think general comments instead of studying it with a magnifying glass would be most helpful as I probably already know of the little details and I won't get overly stressed about it lol. Though, whatever it is you have to say, I'll listen and appreciate the feedback! I'm strong enough to hear even the harshest of opinions. That's how the real world is right?

Hello! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day! I wrote this song in a short amount of time for a competition that's due tomorrow. Sparx has been showing me a lot of electronic/nightcore stuff lately and this is kinda what I came up with when sitting down in the Garageband.

Oh, I have a soundcloud now lol.
